This is an incredibly easy freezer meal to make up. Which makes it a great one to start with if you are new to making freezer meals.
This simmers up really nice in a crockpot while you are out of the house all day. It smells out of this world as it’s cooking. What a great aroma to welcome you home when you walk through the door at dinner hour. I don’t know what’s nicer, the aroma that greets me or just knowing the fact that dinner is already made.
Ingredients:
4lb roast
Bag 1– medium freezer bag
3 bay leaves.
1 Tbsp. dried rosemary
Bag 2 – medium freezer bag
1 cup soya sauce
2 cloves garlic
BAG 3 – Large freezer bag labeled with the recipe name and cooking directions.
Place bags 1 and 2 inside bag 3
If the roast is too big to fit in the bag just attach the large labeled bag containing the two smaller bags to the roast with an elastic band.
Cooking directions:
Place roast and contents of all bags in a crockpot.
Add 6 cups water
Cook low 8-10 hours the longer the better.
Slice and serve on toasted buns.
Dip in the gravy/juice from the crockpot served in a little bowl on the side.
Serve with raw veggies or salad.
