This is definitely, one of my tried and true family favourite freezer meal recipes. It is a quick one to whip up as well as prepare. I get positive reviews from anyone who has tried it.
BEEF STROGANOFF -SLOW COOKER
1 bag egg noodles or fettuccine – add the day of cooking
BAG 1 – medium Freezer bag
1.5 lb stewing beef
BAG 2 – medium Freezer bag
1 cup Onion
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup cream cheese (daiya cream cheese for non dairy)
Place bags 1 &2 inside large freezer bag labelled with recipe name and cooking directions
Cooking Directions:
Pour contents of all bags 1 & 2 into crockpot/slowcooker.
cook low 6-8 hours or high 4-5 hours
Cook noodles seperately according to package directions. Add cooked noodles to crockpot just before serving.

When you place the meat in a separate bag, is it cooked or raw? Like chicken or beef. Thanks!
The meat is frozen raw in separate bags. Saves you time this way and the meat will taste better. The only meats I cook up ahead are ground meats.
