When it comes to food storage containers there are so many options to choose from. In an effort to cut down on single use plastic I have come across a few amazing reusable products.
Glass jars and containers are a great eco-freindly way to store your freezer meals. Mason, Pyrex and Corningware are all great brands that I use. They are both microwave and dishwasher safe making these very practical options.
Bees wax wraps are the perfect replacement for single use plastic wrap. They are pieces of cloth that have been infused with, you guessed it, bees wax. The material warms in your hands to mold around food or containers. They are great for covering bowls and wrapping things like cookies or muffins. They are washable and reusable. I have found Etee bees wax food wraps and bags to work well because of its great sticking ability compared to many other brands. This is also one brand that will actually work in the freezer for up to 30 days.
