Who says pizza isn’t healthy? Not me!! This recipe reminds me of an appetizer that you would find at a fancy restaurant. It has everything that you would need to satisfy that pizza craving.
CRUST:
2 Cups Almond Flour
1Cup Arrowroot Powder
1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
3 Eggs
½ Cup Almond Milk
TOPPINGS:
Tomato Sauce (Gluten, sugar free)
Italian Seasoning (optional)
Baby Spinach Leaves
Goat Cheese
Cooked Bacon Crumbled
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
Combine all dry ingredients with an electric mixer.
Add eggs and milk.
And mix well.
It will be runny like batter. Not doughy like your typical pizza crust.
Spread onto a 9 X13 pan with edges.
Bake 8-12 minutes.
I cut into pizza sized squares. Approximately 6 per batch.
I individually wrap in cellophane and store in a freezer bag in the freezer until I need them. You can take 1 or 2 out at a time as needed.
Top with tomato sauce, Italian Seasoning if the tomato sauce has no spices added.
Baby spinach, Goats cheese and crumbled bacon.
Heat in the oven at 350 degrees just to warm up for 8-10n minutes to eat.
