CRISPY CHEDDAR CHICKEN

This is a great kid friendly dinner option. There are a few bags to this freezer meal. You will find this simplifies the process when preparing to serve this recipe.  You wont need to dirty bowls to dip and coat the chicken strips into the liquids and coatings. You can do it right in the baggies. This makes for very easy clean up. These delicious chicken strips are great served with green beans, or carrots or fresh salad and mashed potatoes.

Freezer Meal Style Recipe

BAG 1

4 large chicken breasts cut into strips

BAG 2

2 Cups Panko Crumbs

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1 TBSP dried parsley

BAG 3

1/4 C milk

BAG 4

3 Cups Cheddar Cheese grated

BAG 5

Sauce:

1   10oz  can cream of chicken soup *Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup Replacement Recipe

2 Tbsp plain greek yogurt

2 Tbsp butter

Large Freezer Bag  labelled with recipe name and cooking directions

Place bags 1-5 inside large labeled bag.

Cooking Directions

Dip chicken in milk,

Then  coat in cheese,

You will have to press the cheese onto the meat so it doesn’t fall off  as you coat in the cracker mixture.

Place on a baking sheet.  Bake 400 degrees F 30 min covered with foil.

Remove foil and bake another 10 min. Until golden and crispy.

Into a medium sized sauce pan stir the cream of chicken soup mixture (bag 5) over medium high heat until the sauce is nice and hot. Serve over the chicken.
